Medina JV volleyball team bests Sabinal

The Medina High School junior varsity volleyball team defeated Sabinal Tuesday, Sept. 15, by scores of 25-8 and 25-18.

The Lady Cats were led in serving by Kristin Boyd and received excellent defensive play from Courtney Gillaspy.

Leading the Cats on offense were Michelle Kendrick at the setter position and Kaela Biodeau as a middle hitter.

The Lady Cats improved their overall record to 4-3 and played again Friday, Sept. 18, against Our Lady of the Hills in Medina.
