National Alpaca Day comin’

Leigh and Chuck Thomas, owners of Hill Country Alpacas in Medina have announced Wednesday, Sept. 16, as National Alpaca Farm Day. From 10 am until 4 pm, Hill County Alpacas will celebrate with a ranch open house, featuring fiber artists offering crafts using alpaca fiber and refreshments. This will also be a chance to meet the alpacas and purchase alpaca products. And, you might have a chance to offer Crosby, right, some hay to munch. The ranch is located at 858 Moffett Road.
