As part of the City of Boerne’s annual Parade of Artists, the Majestic Ranch Arts Foundation, located on Highway 46, will offer a feature sculpture day and ceramic show.

Rachman Ulmer will offer a free Stone Sculpture Day from 10 am until 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, at the Hilltop Pavilion.

“Please come out and enjoy the art of sculpture, but be sure to bring some eye protection and a dust mask,” said an event spokesman.

That same weekend, the artwork of Majestic Ranch’s master potter Michael Saul will be featured in the Hilltop Gallery. The exhibit also includes a ceramic demonstration and information about the foundation’s ceramic program.

Described as “an artist’s paradise,” the Majestic Ranch Arts Foundation is located seven miles west of Boerne on Highway 46. The nonprofit school offers fine arts classes at its 525-acre campus, which overlooks valleys and canyons in the Hill Country.

The foundation features a variety of classes, including ceramics, drawing, oil painting, sculpture, digital photography, welding and blacksmithing, woodworking, acrylics and fiber arts, as well as programs for children. Additionally, classes are geared toward a variety of ages and interests.
