Owls set down Bulldogs 35-14 in season opener

The new-look Hondo Owls, under the direction of first-year head coach Randy Graf, jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead enroute to a 35-14 victory over the Bandera Bulldogs in the 2010 season opener played Friday night, August 27, at Bandera High School Stadium.

Dove season opens; purchase licenses now

Dove hunting season for the Central Zone in Texas opens Wednesday, Sept. 1 and runs through Oct. 24; then again from Dec. 25 through Jan. 9, 2011.

Dove season is here! At least in the north and central zones. The south zone opens Sept. 17. The Wednesday fun shoot this week will be 12 gauge and JM has some plans to make it seem like dove hunting.
