The Courier Welcomes Tourists of The Week,
The Woods from Jackson Hole

For the last 15 years, Ron and Bev Wood of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, have spent their winters in the Hill Country. This year, they attended the Cowgirl Roundup and Showdeo held Saturday, Jan. 1, at the Hill Country State Natural Area. Accompanying the Woods on their regular journey south are the couple's horses, mules and two dogs. "We have six acres on King Ranch Road and we all make ourselves comfortable for the winter," Bev said. "We just love to stroll the banks of the Medina River in February." As for Ron, when asked if he had retired, he rejoined, "I'm just tired." Well, Bandera's a great place to relax, refresh and recoup before wending your way back north. Glad to hear you like it here!
