Anna and Ron Sherman
Anna Sherman, originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, and husband Ron Sherman, originally from San Antonio, visited the Western Heritage Cowboy Church on Sunday, Dec. 21, arriving in time for breakfast before the service. Anna Sherman serves as assistant director for White Stone Ministries, an organization that provides care for orphans. She and Ron had just returned from working with homeless street children in Mexico City. Ron explained, “We love our ministry to orphans. It takes us all over the US and the world. But everyone likes to come home for the holidays. I grew up in San Antonio, so we wanted to spend Christmas with family and friends.” Donations to care for orphans through the White Stone Ministry can be sent to 8141-B Pat Booker Rd., #347, Live Oak, TX 78233.
