Basketball Kick-Off Night slated

A Basketball Kick-Off Night is scheduled for 6 pm, Monday, Nov. 9, at Bandera High School, according to Head Coach David Farber.

Farber will introduce both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams from BMS, including coaches and respective players. The Bandera Middle School hoop programs will be recognized as well.

Teams will conduct a short scrimmage and the boys and girls will square off for a shooting contest. The Bandera High School Band, choir, Star Steppers and cheerleaders will also perform throughout this fun evening.

To round off the activities, a VIP Shooting Contest will be held, which will pitting some of BISD’s finest principals against one another.

“We urge all students, their parents and friends to come out and support the basketball teams during this entertaining event,” said a spokesman.
