JV Lady Cats end district play with a 4-3 record

Contributed

The Medina Lady Cat junior varsity volleyball team completed their season with a tough defeat at Leakey Saturday, Oct. 24.

Some athletes were missing in action that day which necessitated several Cats stepping up to fill their shoes.

MaryEllen Mills took her place in the front row to assist with the Lady Cat’s attack and Chelsey Morris served the ball well. Courtney Gillaspy, Kristen Boyd, Michelle Kendrick and Kamille Miller played an excellent offensive game for the Cats as they have done all season. Kristen Jankoski and Emily Dabney contributed to the Lady Cat defense.

The JV Cats ended the season with an overall record of 8-6 and a district record of 4-3.
