Bandera MS bests F'burg Billies

Last week, the Bandera Middle School Lady Bulldogs hoopsters battled it out with the Fredericksburg Billies.

The seventh grade B Team beat the Battlin’ Billies by a final score of 20-8. Outstanding Lady Bulldog was Dana Lohrke for her daring defense.

The seventh grade A Team scored a redeeming victory against Fredericksburg after losing to them earlier this year in overtime. The final score was 22-14 and the outstanding Lady Bulldog was Emily Dyes for her smooth shooting and paint dominance.

The eighth grade B Team came from behind to topple the Billies in last-minute play by a score of 21-18. The title of “Outstanding Lady Bulldogs” went to the entire team for coming together, overcoming adversity and playing as a team until the final buzzer.

The eighth grade A Team played a close game until the very end when the Lady Dogs fell short with the final score of 37-31. Again, however, the “Outstanding Lady Bulldogs” went to the entire team for playing hard and not giving in.
