LadyBulldog softball camp

By Sandy Jennings BCC Staff Writer

LadyBulldog Softball Camp is scheduled for June 5 and 6, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The camp will take place at Bandera High School’s Softball Field. Head Softball Coach Jason Botos will be joined by other outstanding coaches and former players to conduct this year’s camp.
Campers, ages third through ninth grade, will participate in organized drills, games and other activities that will develop their individual softball skills, their knowledge of the game and how to incorporate these skills into team play.
The instructors will emphasize fielding, throwing, hitting, footwork, sliding, pitching, defensive skills and understanding softball team concepts in the daily sessions in an informative and fun environment.
All campers will receive a camp T-shirt and will wear it the last day of camp for a camp photo. Individual recognition will be presented daily and at the end of the camp.
Campers need to wear shorts and T-shirt or baseball pants, athletic shoes or rubber cleats. Campers also need to bring a water bottle, glove and bat.
Cost for camp is $25 during preregistration and $35 at the door. For more information, contact Jason Botos by email or by phone 210-501-3369.
