Start the summer with Bulldog baseball camp

By Sandy Jennings BCC Staff Writer

Bulldog Baseball Camp hits off on June 6 and 7, from 9 to 11:30 am each day at Bulldog Baseball Stadium at the High School.
“We’re excited about the upcoming season, as well as, the 5th Annual Bandera Baseball Camp,” Head Baseball Coach Jeff Quillin said. “This is a camp designed to be FUN with a memorable learning experience for our young developing baseball stars of tomorrow.”
The camp is available for players six-14 years old. Anyone who has completed his/her freshman year of high school is not eligible to attend.
The cost is $25 for the two day camp if paid prior to June 1. After June 1, the cost is $35. All checks are made payable to BHS-ABC.
Camp Goals are to provide an environment for the baseball player to develop individual skills, to stress knowledge and execution of the fundamentals of baseball and to prepare the camper to compete at the Little League and high school levels.
The general daily agenda will include stretching, throwing, catching, stations or infield, outfield practice, hitting, and bunting and instruction includes controlled games and fun contests.
All campers will receive a t-shirt and are asked to wear athletic clothing and shoes to camp.
For more information, contact Camp Director Jeff Quillin or assistant Coaches Tim Markgraf, Ryan Folger or Michael Pena at Bandera High School Athletics.
