Bandera Bulldog Soccer kicked off the season traveling to LaVernia and battling for their first big win over the Bears this past Saturday.
“It was a good win for us because LaVernia is a good team,” Head boys soccer coach Clifton Tierney said.
Bandera’s defense held strong throughout the game, shutting down the Bears at their goal and holding them to 0.

“Our defense played strong and our physicality played a huge part in the win,” Tierney said.

The Bulldog’s offense was on fire with high octane rallies to their goal, scoring four goals, while holding Burnet to one goal.
