Alex Bauml dominated with three big blocks in last week's district wins.

The Bandera LadyBulldog varsity volleyball team picked up two more district wins against Devine and Lytle this past week, bringing their overall record to 21-12, and their District record to 2-1.
Bandera played Devine on Tuesday, defeating the Warhorses in three games 25-18, 25-19, and 26-24.
Senior Kalie Mansfield led the 'Dogs on the boards with six kills, 18 assists and a block, followed by junior Morgan Gross with 17 kills and a block.
Junior Keleigh-Shea Schmidt added 16 assists, 11 digs and an ace, along with Peyton Mooney who had eight kills and a block.
Defensively, Baileigh Toenes led with 19 digs, followed by Brittani Adams with 12 digs, and Alex Bauml with two big blocks.
Friday night on their home court, Bandera crushed the Pirates in three quick games of 25-12, 25-17, and 25-8.
Mansfield was on fire with 17 assists, nine kills, nine digs and two aces. Gross dominated at the net with 14 kills, two blocks and two aces.
Toenes grabbed her double-digit digs again, with help from Kaitlyn Rodriguez who had eight digs of her own.
Mooney helped on the scoreboard with five kills and two aces, assisted by Schmidt with another double-digit night in assists.
Bandera hosted Hondo Tuesday night, and will travel to Boerne this Friday night to complete the first half of the district season. Varsity will play at 4:30 pm, followed by JV at 6 pm and Freshmen at 7 pm.
