Eighth grade girls vs. Mountain Valley
Our Bandera Lady Bulldog's hit the floor against Canyon Lake on Jan. 30th. This was the girl's last home game and they were honored by playing at the Bandera High School gym and having all of their names announced before tip-off.
The Girl's B team started the night off with only 8 player's and great efforts were contributed by Aeryn Koerner, Bailey Riley, KK Adams, Patricia Gembler, and Ivy Cruz. The girl's A team started the night with 10 strong. Great rebounding, block out efforts came from Rio Orion, Lacey Welch, Abby Busby, Jasmine Gomez, and Izzy Byrd. Combined efforts from Kayla Popham, Bree Brakebill, Izzy Byrd, Kendra Shaw, and Lacey Welch tried to slow down their main scorers for the night.
Although both teams lost to Canyon Lake, they will be on the road ending their season against Boerne and Fredericksburg looking for a better turnaround and ending the season strong.
