Bandera hosted the Wimberley Texans in their district opener this past Friday night, battling to the buzzer with a 32-51 defeat.
"The ladies played with great intensity tonight but just had too many unforced errors," Head Girls Basketball Coach David Farber said.
The Bulldogs were down by only five at the half, but heavy pressure from the Texans press in the second half and multiple unforced errors by the 'Dogs resulted in a larger deficit at the final buzzer.
Leading scorers for the Bulldogs were freshman guard Alex Bauml with 9 points and sophomore post Katie Beauchamp with 8 points.
On the boards, senior Casey Olsen pulled down 8 rebounds, followed by Kaylee Hornung with 7 rebounds.
The LadyDogs hosted Canyon Lake Tuesday, and will travel to Boerne to battle the Greyhounds this Friday.
