Bobcats take down Rockcrushers 61-43

The Medina Bobcats split a pair of pre-holiday encounters as the Ingram Warriors came out on top 45-36 on their home court on Tuesday, Dec. 18 before the Bobcats returned home on Friday, Dec. 21 to take a 61-43 decision over the Knippa Rockcrushers.
Garrett Collins led the way for the Bobcats against Knippa with a dominating performance that included 20 points and 9 rebounds. Mitchell Black added 14 points, Adrian Jackson 11 points and nine boards and Weston Jenkins 8 points to the Medina winning effort against Knippa.
Teejay Handley and Michael Baker chipped in with 4 points each while Ben Dabney added 2 to round out the Bobcat scoring effort against the Rockcrushers.
At Ingram, Black led all scorers with 22 points while Collins (8), Dabney (3), Handley (2) and Jenkins (1) all contributed to the Medina effort against the Warriors.
Collins hauled down 10 rebounds and Handley 7 more to lead the Bobcats on the boards at Ingram.
The Bobcats return to action on Friday, Jan. 4 at La Pryor. Tipoff will be at 7:30 pm.
