Doyle coaches the Hutto girls team.
One of his runners, Vanessa Evans, was named to the All-State team.

Doyle said he wanted his kids to have the experience of being on the track close to the elite athletes that made it to the state meet. "He hopes that they will want to run at the state meet next year and got to see what it takes to get to that level," the paper said.
