I would like to thank Matt Johnson and all the other deputies, business sponsors and speakers who helped make the first Bandera County Sheriff's Citizen Academy a success.

The classes were very informative and I learned so much. Each week, different topics were covered without bias or political motivations.

Through this program, I gained a new respect for the law enforcement in our area and the obstacles they face each day just to perform their job.

I highly recommended the Sheriff's Citizen Academy to all citizens of Bandera County; it is well worth the time.

Thank you again to all the people involved behind the scenes. It was a great experience and one I will never forget.
