Louis Henry Stein
1957-2010
Louis Henry Stein, 57, of Bandera, passed away Sunday, Jan. 10, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 9, 1953, to Robert and Hedwig Adamietz Stein in Bandera.
Louis, who began working steadily since he was eight years old, worked as an auto mechanic in Bandera and the surrounding area for several years. A member of the Bandera FFA Alumni, he was very involved in Bandera Youth Soccer, 4-H, cattle, hogs and sheep. Louis also served on the City of Bandera Board of Adjustors.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Stein of Bandera; sons, Daniel E. Munn and his wife, Jennifer, of Inverness, Florida, and Kevin A. Munn and his wife, Kimberly, of Marble Falls; sister Mary Stein and brother Robert Stein, both of Bandera; and grandchildren, Ivy Munn and Courtney Munn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and one great great-nephew and numerous cousins.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hedwig Adamietz Stein; son Eric Stein; sister Rita Stein and brother Jimmy Stein.
The funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 14, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. The eulogy was given by Tom Doebbler and the service was officiated by Mr. Martin Smith. Interment followed at the Old St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery with Robert J. Stein Jr. concluding the service.
Pallbearers were Randy Schott, Tom Laxson, Stan Eckhart, Kenneth Welch, Billy Bratton and Tommy Wedgworth.
Honorary pallbearers include Telvy Robbin, Al Evans, Sonny Schulte, Glen Evans, Jerry Green, Patrick McGroarty, Bobby Malone, Tommy Kindla, Mark Bradford,Tom Doebbler, Roger Roberts, Barbara Mazurek, Cody Tripp and Regan Peterson.
