Georgianna “George” Duclos passed away Saturday, Jan. 2.

George – as she was affectionately known – was born July 2, 1929, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

She married United States Air Force Lt. Bernard V. Duclos on Dec. 25, 1950, at Carlisle Barracks in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The couple traveled extensively, living in England, Germany, Turkey, Japan and Hawaii and, for short periods, in Vietnam and Thailand.

While living in Hawaii, George took flying lessons and obtained her pilot license at the age of 40.

She is survived by her loving husband, Vincent; three children, Robert, born in San Antonio; Michael, born in England; and Michelle, born in Germany; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
