Lynda Ann Foster, 69, of Bandera, passed away on Oct. 31.

She was born on August 4, 1940, to William J. Shelton and Beverly Hildinger Shelton in Corpus Christi.

Lynda loved to travel and read. She also enjoyed doing needle point and all kinds of arts and craft projects.

She was survived by her husband, Robert D. Foster of Bandera; daughters, Deborah Winstead and her husband, Tom, of Anchorage, Alaska; and Gaye Aust and her husband, Wade, of Karnes City, Texas; son, Robert D. Foster II, and his wife, Michele, of Rockport; sister-in-laws, Mary Culpepper of Corpus Christi and Sandra Brown of College Station; mother-in-law Mary Foster of Corpus Christi; and brother William J. Shelton III and his wife, Bea, of Corpus Christi; as well as five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday, Nov. 6, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera with Mr. Martin Smith officiating.
