Donald Apostolo

Donald Lee Apostolo, 69, of Conroe, died Friday, Jan. 8, in Bandera. He was born Aug. 29, 1940, in Conroe, Texas.

A graduate of Conroe High School, Mr. Apostolo was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

After attending Texas A&M University, he began a career as a real estate developer. At the time of his death, he was the managing developer of the residential subdivisions, Cielo Rio Ranch in Pipe Creek and Hills of Bandera Ranch near Bandera.

Mr. Apostolo is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandy; son Brad Apostolo and his wife, Megan, of Seabrook and the couple’s 5-year-old son, Jack. He is also survived by his sister, Jo Anne Edgmon, and her husband, Steve, of Conroe and brother John Signorelli and his wife, Pam, also of Conroe, as well as numerous nephews.

Mr. Apostolo was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Signorelli of Conroe, and brother Bernie Apostolo.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Metcalf Funeral Chapel in Conroe with Pastor Earl Williams officiating. Interment followed at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery.
