Sally Touchstone Wadkins

1931-2009

Sally Touchstone Wadkins, 77, of Utopia, passed away Thursday, April 10.

She was born on December 19, 1931 to Green and Ora Touchstone in Milano.

Sally worked for Utopia Independent School District for 17 years as a bus driver and in the cafeteria. A member of Utopia Baptist Church, she also supported and contributed to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Sally will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include daughter Margaret Patton and her husband, Harvey, of Three Rivers; sons, Ronald Wadkins and his wife, Diana, of Rockport; Robert Wadkins and his wife, Claudia, of Jourdanton; George Wadkins Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Knoxville, Tennessee; and Wesley Wadkins of Utopia.

Services were held Monday, April 13, at Utopia Baptist Church by Reverend Matthew Moretz. Interment was at Sandy Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
