Clifford W. Pittman


Clifford W. Pittman, 57, of Bandera, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, in Houston. He was born on Feb. 25, 1956 in San Antonio to Roy P. Pittman and Virginia M. Valentino.

Cliff married Elaine Palmer in San Antonio in June 1987.

He attended school and graduated from high school in San Antonio.

Cliff served as one of Bandera's local mailmen for the past six years. Additionally, for the past 35 years, he also owned and served as president of San Antonio's Pittman Distributing. His father started the family business, which passed to Cliff after his father's death in 1999.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Elaine Palmer; children, Stephanie Martin, Christina Pittman and adopted daughter Jennifer Triance. Cliff was the youngest of five brothers and sisters, Betty Jean Shelton, Johnny Pittman, Roy Jr. Pittman and JoAnne Busdieker. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Caleb, Hunter, Levi, Brendon and Kayden.

A celebration of Cliff Pittman's life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, Jan. 18, at the home of his daughter, Stephanie, 1502 Mulberry Lane.

To assist the family with funeral costs and expenses, a Cliff Pittman Memorial Fund bank account has been set up at Bandera Bank in the name of his wife, Elaine Palmer, for those who would like to make donations. The family extends its thanks and gratitude in advance.
