J.D. Gaddis

1992-2008

JD Gaddis, 16, of Bandera, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
He was born on June 17, 1992, to James David Gaddis and Angela Wagley Brocco in Dalton, Georgia.

JD was in the 10th grade at Bandera High School.

He loved music, especially the guitar. He wrote and played many of his own songs. JD enjoyed making people laugh and always had a smile on his face. A lover of animals, he was also a hugger and a giver and was always there for his mom. JD was a leader, not a follower, and will be remembered as a very charismatic person.

Survivors include mother, Angela Brocco and Ollis Oliver of Pipe Creek; father David Gaddis of Georgia; grandparents, Dave and Catherine Wagley III of Centerville, Gail Gaddis of Georgia and Ruby Oliver of Lakehills; stepsister Kayleen Garza of Castroville; stepbrother, Clayton Oliver, who also passed away in the vehicular accident; uncles, Dave Wagley III of New York, Roy Gaddis of Georgia, Jimmy Oliver of Tennessee, Sandy Oliver of Lakehills, Randall Oliver of Pipe Creek, Greg Wright of Georgia, Todd Colbert of San Antonio and Chuck Ashby of Virginia; aunts, Mandy Wright of Georgia, Carol Jean Ashby of Virginia, Sandra McCoy of Lakehills, Rita Petterson of Lakehills, Christin Leyva of Pipe Creek; and cousins, Jessica Wisnoski of Weller; Chris Hills, who is in the military; Stephanie and Bradley Turner of Castroville; Tasha and Ashley Leyva of Pipe Creek; and Guy Ashby of Virginia.

JD’s mother, Angela, would like to express her gratitude to the Olivers for making her feel like part of their family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
