JoAnn McFee Thrash
JoAnn McFee Thrash departed this life on Saturday, June 15, after a long illness. She was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi, on Feb. 21, 1934, to William Clifton McFee and Bertie Clay Cottrel McFee.
JoAnn was raised in Houston. She was a member of Western Heritage Cowboy Church.
To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her husband of 64 years, Bobby Thrash; daughter Bobbie Jo Basinger and her husband, Ronald; sister-in-law Jean Haupt; daughter-in-law Suzanne Thrash; and grandchildren Frederick Trunik, Megan Snyder, Justin Snyder, Amanda Thrash and Robbie Thrash and Boyd Basinger and his wife, Tina.
JoAnn is also survived by five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her former sister-in-law, Cindy Colletta and her husband, as well as by a host of friends who will also cherish her memory.
JoAnn was predeceased by her parents, son William "Bill" Thrash and granddaughter Erin Kathleen Trunik.
The family extends our deepest thanks to River City Hospice and Cedar Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for their excellent care and compassion for our loved one.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 29, at the Western Heritage Cowboy Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a contribution be made in JoAnn's name to the Western Heritage Cowboy Church, 7146 FM 1283, Pipe Creek 78063 or to a favorite charity.
