Warren Milton Anderson


Warren Milton Anderson, 82, of Bandera, passed away Sunday, Feb. 23.
A master sergeant in the United States Air Force, he retired after serving 23 years.
Warren is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gloria Jean Phillips Anderson; brother Rolland of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota; daughters, Carrie Oberg and her husband, Michael, of Eugene, Oregon; Christine Withee and her husband, Ted, of Detroit, Maine and Port Alto, Texas; and Diana Hyland Heinz, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sons, Michael of Austin and Port Alto; and William and his wife, Jackie, of Port Alto; sisters-in-law, Janet Parentau of Shorewood, Minnesota, and Kathleen Renneberg and her husband, Robert, of Ferndale, Washington; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as by his faithful dog, Samson.
He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Rose Anderson; brothers, Wallace and Winslow; and sister Iris.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, March 16, at Bayside Community Church in Olivia, Texas. Internment will take place in July at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis in July.
