Ben M. Nolen

1937-2012

Ben M. Nolen, 74, of Bandera, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 6, in Kerrville. He was born in 1937 in Waco.

Ben graduated from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a successful real estate agent-broker for many years. He also had a true love for canoeing and all water sports.

In addition, Ben was active in many Bandera business organizations, including the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce. He also loved to help with the local Boys & Girls Club.

Ben is survived by two daughters and a stepson.

Although his personal wishes requested no memorial service, the family would like to suggest that - in lieu of flowers - memorials and donations be made in Ben's name to the Boys & Girls Club of Bandera County or to Helping Hand.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to personnel with The Haven of the Texas Hill Country for the love and care they offered during the last months of his difficult fight with Alzheimers.
