Donna R. Black

1932-2012

Donna Rhudenia Black of Kerrville, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, in Bandera, at the Bandera Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born in Corsicana, on Jan. 23, 1932 to William R. and Valentine Middleton.

Donna married Jack Black in July 1953 in Kerrville. The couple moved to California in 1954 where son Larry Wayne Black was born in 1956 and daughter LaDonna Ann Black was born in 1959. Donna returned to her hometown in Texas in 1971.

She is survived by her children, Larry Wayne Black and LaDonna Ann Black Greeson; grandchildren, Bryan Sheriff, Shaylene Klein, Jennifer Greeson and Austen Crenshaw Black; great grandchildren, Kiana Woodard, Jason Woodard, Deja Johnson, Zane Sheriff, Zoe Sheriff and Noah Sheriff; and step-great-grandchildren, Macy and Mia Mckinnon.

Donna was predeceased by her husband, Jack Black; brothers, Hubert Sonny Middleton and William R. Middleton Jr.; and sister Francis Veannie Middleton Brown.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 25, at Grimes
Funeral Chapels of Kerrville, Burial followed at Nichols Cemetery.
