Geri graduated from Marshall High School in 1967 and, following in her father's footsteps, attended Tarleton University in Stephenville. She became a successful business owner of Hickory Hut BBQ for 40 years.

Additionally, Geri served her community with open arms, always willing to lend a hand to those around her, including the Helotes Masonic Lodge, the Eastern Star Chapters, Lions Club, VFW and many others throughout these wonderful years.

She is survived by the love of her life and her husband of 30 years, Richard C. Lee, whom she married during the Helotes Cornyval on May 7, 1980.

Known by the immediate family as "GiGi," Geri is also survived by her children, Shannon and Richard C. Lee II; daughter-in-law Marinda; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Chatham III and Hailey; loving brother Dennis Clardy; sister-in-law Ginger; nephew Jason; and great-nephew Michael Clardy.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to all who have known and loved Geri. As she said, "I got everything I ever wanted. I've had a great life!"
