Travis Newton Wiggins Sr. passed away Friday, July 6. He was born on July 17, 1926 in Coleman to Edward Howard and Annie Belle Wiggins.

After proudly serving his country in the United States Army during World War II, Mr. Wiggins was honorably discharged 1946.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Wiggins is survived by his wife, Lanora Wiggins, sons; Travis Neal Wiggins and his wife, Ann; Terry Smith and his fiancée Kelly Mann; Timothy Wiggins; and Daniel Wiggins; daughters,

Aline Luster and her husband, Huey, and Christine Quintero and her husband, Alfred; grandchildren, Chelsea Richards, Noah Smith, Alfred Quintero Jr., Travis Wiggins III, Paula, Tim, Jason and Luke; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wiggins was predeceased by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 16, at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Bandera. Graveside services took place Wednesday, July 18, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
