Arthur William Wallin
Arthur William "Art" Wallin, 81, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away Saturday, May 26. He was born in Tacomaon Jan. 25, 1931, to Arthur and Esther Wallin.
Art married Ann Lesniewski on Dec. 24, 1992.
He served in the United States Army for three years during the Korean War. After returning to Tacoma, he worked for his cousin and then the Boeing Airplane Company. Before retiring in 1996, Art spent his last years in Tacoma at Clover Park Technical College. He and his wife then moved to Bandera.
Art is survived by his wife, Ann Wallin, of Bandera; sons, Brian Wallin of Elko, Nevada; Jeffrey Wallin of Boise, Idaho; and Gregory Wallin of Shreveport, Louisiana; sisters, Shirley Russell Wallin of Boise, and Sandra Samardick of Tacoma; brother Robert L. Wallin of Gig Harbor, Washington; and grandchildren, Chelsea Wallin of Shreveport, and Jessica Wallin of Munich, Germany.
Art was predeceased by his sister, Juanita Rothin.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 9, at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Bandera.
