Gregoria “Mary” Jureczki, 78, of Kerrville passed away on Oct. 18, 2008, at a San Antonio hospital.

Mary was born to Gregorio and Micaela Rodriguez on Jan. 4, 1930, in Bandera. She was a very active member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville.

Survivors include daughter Shirley Ann Jureczki Wafer of Kerrville; sons, Richard I. Jureczki and Susan of San Antonio; Albert L. Jureczki of Kerrville; Carl J. Jureczki and Lora of Tomball; Steve M. Jureczki and Karyl of Bandera and Mike C. Jureczki and Tana of Bandera.

Other survivors include a sister, Frances Rosas and brothers George Rodriguez and S. Joe Rodriguez of Bandera. She is also survived by grandchildren Jeffrey A. Jureczki and Tiffany Dawn of Boerne; Casey L. Jureczki and Lauren of Tomball; Joshua Jureczki and Amy of Bandera; Jonathon Jureczki and Janel Ann of San Antonio; Kristin Nicole of Houston; Nicholas L. Of Evansville, Ind.; Scott M. of Bandera; Andrew S. of Bandera’ Michael A. Wafer of Kerrville; Shelley Marie of San Antonio and Keri Lynn Wafer of Kerrville.

Great-grandchildren surviving her include Ty Robert Jureczki of Boerne; Savannah Grace and Preston Nolan Jureczki of Tomball; Arthur R., Cody M. and Kimber Ann Jureczki of Bandera.

A rosary was held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. It was officiated by Deacon Bobby Stein.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 am on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at St Stanislaus Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael Boulette as celebrant. Interment followed in the Old Catholic Cemetery.
