Zapata seeks re-election

Eino Zapata has announced his bid for re-election as Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace in Bandera County.

He has been served as Justice of the Peace since January 2007 and has completed 80 hours of training with the Texas Justice Court Training Center.

A life-long Republican, Zapata is a licensed attorney on Texas and has practiced law since passing the bar exam in December 1973. Zapata received his jurisdoctorate in August 1973 from the St. Mary’s School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University in 1969.
He actively served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1971 and also served four years of reserve duty before being honorably discharged in 1974.

Zapata also worked for the Exxon Corporation’s legal department for eight years before entering private practice and eventually moving to Bandera over 15 years ago. His law office is located at 611 Main Street in Bandera; the Precinct 3 JP office is located in downtown Medina.

He has two children and three grandchildren, none of whom live in Bandera.
