Sweet Adelines looking for singers

Announcement

Sweet Adelines International's Alamo Metro Chorus is searching for women singers in the San Antonio area.

Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to attend the chorus' weekly rehearsal on Thursday evenings 6:45 pm at:

Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church, Fellowship Hall, 2515 Austin Highway at Perrin Beitel, San Antonio.

The Alamo Metro Chorus is one of the hundreds of Sweet Adelines International choruses that make up this worldwide organization of women who sing four-part barbershop harmony.

Musical knowledge is not necessary to join - voice training and music education are valuable components of member's benefits. The Alamo Metro Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable functions, in addition to promoting harmony and friendship among women.

The Alamo Metro Chorus will offer a free lesson on Thursday, Jan. 19 from 7-9:30 pm.

Voice placements begin at 6:30.
