By Carolyn B. Edwards BCC staff writer

Looking for something worthwhile for your kids to do during Spring Break? Dr. Sylvie Kitzman of Peaceful Vally Ranch may have just what you are looking for.
Kitzman will offer four math and science enrichment camps for grades 4-6 March 14-18.
Fun with Fractions & Decimals plus Fitness with Ponies will be offered Monday and Tuesday, March 14 & 15. "This is an excellent review for TAKS and other standardized tests," said Kitzman. Cost is $50 for two days.
Three one-day classes begin on Wednesday, March 16 with Hands-on-Geometry plus Geocaching. The cost is $25 and includes a GPS treasure hunt.
On Thursday, March 17, Kitzman offers Hands-on-Science: Environmental Science plus Orienteering for $25. The course emphasizes water resources and students will build a model aquifer.
The final class, set for Friday, March 18, will be Hands-on-Science: Zoology/Ecology plus Pony Fitness. After exploring the ranch, students will build a mini-ecosystem to take home. The fitness course will use Peaceful Valley's minis and ponies. Cost is $30.
All classes are from 9 am to 3 pm and include related physical activities in addition to the mental exercises.
