Support library with B-I-N-G-O

With the dreaded February doldrums upon us, consider enjoying a Friday night out in Bandera, not two-stepping, but playing bingo, enjoying a silent auction or just visiting with friends.
The event will be held Friday, Feb. 18, with doors opening at 6 pm and the games starting at 7 pm. The evening will be hosted by the Bandera County Friends of the Library and conducted by American Legion Post 157.
Food will be available. Bingo packets are $15.50 and $17.50.
The silent auction will conclude at the bingo intermission, approximately 8:45 pm. Items include jewelry, wine baskets, gift certificates, stained glass panels, purses, statuary and much more. This offers a chance to pick up something special for yourself or to start your holiday shopping early!
If you have teens in the family, they are welcome to come and play.
This is this year's major fundraising event for the Bandera Friends of the Library. The Friends supply the library with books, audiobooks and all non-operating materials,ß which supply computer-generated and print information from throughout the world for all county's citizens.
And there will be time later, if energy permits, for two-stepping.
American Legion Post 157 is located across from the Bandera Ice House, at 202 12th Street.
