Competitive trail challenges on Pipe Creek ranch to benefit mustangs

American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) and L cinco Ranch in Pipe Creek are hosting a back-to-back trail ride event Sept. 10-11.
L cinco ranch will host the “Ride for the Mustangs” complete with a barbecue dinner and entertainment followed the next day by the “Celebrate the Seasons” ride with breakfast and a church service. Both rides will have six miles of trails, six natural obstacles and six judges. Check out photos from previous rides at the ranch by going to “Find a Ride” on the ACTHA website and clicking on L cinco.
In support of the Mustang Heritage Foundation’s mission to increase the number of adoptions of American mustangs, ACTHA has selected the Mustang Heritage Foundation as its main beneficiary for the 2011 annual Guinness Word Record Ride. On Sept. 10, trail riders from across the nation will saddle up and ride to help the American mustang. Be a part of this extraordinary event, connecting to thousands of other trail riders that day.
It’s a ride with a holiday twist. The obstacles will each take on a different holiday theme and will be fun and interesting.
Choose both rides so you don’t miss a thing!
All riders must register online prior to the events at www.actha.us to participate.
“If you’ve never been part of a Competitive Trail Challenge with the ACTHC, this is a perfect place to start. If you have, then you already know to expect the casual, fun competition, the obstacles, the judges, and best of all, you’ll be riding for a great cause,” said L cinco Ranch owner Eddie Leibold. “This casual competition is perfect for all levels, of riders! If you trail ride, you can do this!”
