The 11th annual Lakehills United Methodist Church Fish Fry and Auction will begin at 11 am, Saturday, March 26, at the Lakehills Civic Center. There is no admission charge and parking is free.
Plates will include fried catfish, French fries, pinto beans, coleslaw and cornbread along with a cup of ice tea. Tickets for the plates cost $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. A dessert of ice cream and peach cobbler is available for purchase.
A silent auction starts at 11 am, with a live auction beginning at 1 pm. Both auctions will conclude at 4 pm.
Live auction items include a helicopter ride for three people over Medina Lake, a handmade doll house, 19-inch flat screen TV and a trolling motor, as well as additional items and gift certificates donated from businesses in Lakehills, Bandera, Pipe Creek, Mico, Rio Medina, Hondo, Castroville, Helotes and San Antonio.
The event will also include live music, entertainment and games for the kids. The hilarious dunking booth will also be back this year.
Square dancers will perform on the main pavilion beginning at 11 am, followed by cloggers.
