Another motorcycle accident injures two

By Carolyn B. Edwards BCC

Department of Public Safety reports show only one traffic accident this week with serious injuries to those involved. On Sunday, March 13, Jeffery Singley, 55, of Coppell, Texas, was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was riding was struck in the rear by another cycle.
A 16-year-old passenger riding with Singley was also injured.
Singley was traveling west on Ranch Road 337 out of Medina on a 2011 Harley when he was struck in the rear by a cycle driven by his son, 17.
DPS reports indicate the driver of the second motorcycle, also a 2011 Harley, failed to control his speed. The victim’s vehicle slid into the ditch and both riders were ejected.
The accident occurred at 11:55 am.
