TRIAD symposium slated

The Bandera County Sheriff’s Department is invites the public to attend a TRIAD symposium on Thursday, August 21 from 10 am to noon at Misty’s Cove in Wharton’s Dock. A pavilion will be set up to accommodate the organizations that attend.

Any organization or person interested in participating should contact TRIAD President Chief Deputy Don Berger at 830-796-4323 to ensure that a table is ready. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the symposium. Any organization wishing to donate a prize will be greatly appreciated.

At the close of the symposium, a lunch prepared by Misty of Misty’s Cove will be available for $5. The meal will consist of a hamburger, French fries and tea. Those wishing to join the symposium for lunch are asked to respond to Nita Rogers at 830-796-4323 no later than Monday, Aug. 18.

The symposium is an effort to reach the elderly in the county and inform them of what services are available to them.
