Gardeners continue a 50-year tradition

With glue guns and greenery in hand, garden clubs from Medina, Kerrville, Hunt and Ingram rendezvoused at the Kerrville State Hospital Thursday, Nov. 16, to decorate the Christmas tree and fluff wreaths, providing holiday decorations to all units at the hospital, the library and administration building. Kerrville State Hospital representative Pete Caulderon said the decorations provide a much-valued boost to moral and help patients cope with the holidays. Medina Rose Garden Club president Jane Kelly, vice president Carole Gibson, Judy Fillpot and Elinor Vandergriff participated in the annual tradition.
