The Bandera County Sheriff Department responded to 244 dispatch calls from Nov. 6, 2017 through Nov. 13, 2017, which included 5 major accidents; 6 minor accident; 1 abandoned vehicle, 3 road hazards, 13 reckless driving; 1 explosives, 3 loud noise/party, 2 assaults, 1 terroristic threat, 6 fraud, 1 disturbance, 3 domestic disturbances, 4 shots fired; 5 thefts, and 1 burglary. There was 1 call about a fish and game violation, 14 calls about loose livestock, and 12 calls about dogs and cats. There was 1 attempted suicide call, 1 mental commitment, 6 calls for child protective services and 6 welfare concerns. There were 8 calls regarding suspicious persons, 8 suspicious vehicles and 12 suspicious circumstances. There were 17 calls for information, 28 misdialed calls to 911, among other things.

Jail population included 11 females and 45 males for a total of 56 inmates; 18 of total were contract inmates from neighboring counties: 5 from Real County, 10 from Medina County and 3 from Kendall County.
The Bandera County Sheriff Department, the Bandera Police Department, Texas Highway Patrol and the Department of Public Safety made arrests for the following crimes and warrants:
• Public intoxication, on Nov. 6
• Evading arrest with a vehicle, on Nov. 6
• Public intoxication, retaliation and resisting arrest, on Nov. 6
• Warrant arrest, on Nov. 8
• Two incidents of aggravated sexual assault, on Nov. 9
• Possession of controlled substances, on Nov. 11
• Blue warrant & possession of less than 2 oz of marijuana, on Nov. 12
