198th District Judge Rex Emerson announced he will seek a third term in office. Emerson was appointed in 2009 to complete an unexpired term and he successfully ran for office in 2010 and 2014.
“Since taking office I have consistently endeavored to efficiently address the ever- increasing number of civil, criminal and family law cases in a fiscally responsible manner consistent with the administration of justice.”
Emerson is a graduate of the Texas College for Judicial Studies, a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a past president of the Kerr County Bar Association, a member of the State Bar of Texas, and a graduate of the St. Mary’s School of Law and Texas A&M University. “I am humbled and honored to serve the citizens of Kerr and Bandera counties and want to continue my commitment to justice as the 198th District Judge.”
