Crosley waives hearing,litigation continues

On Sept. 20, 2017, Walter Steven Crosley, of Lakehills, waived his preliminary and detention hearing that was scheduled to occur in front of U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth S. Chestney in San Antonio the next day. Crosley was arrested on Sept 7, for using the internet and social media to threaten the lives of individuals working for the US Department of Veteran Affairs and to destroy buildings by the use of explosives.
Crosley remains in federal custody while litigation continues. Crosley is being represented by Kurt May with the Federal Public Defender’s Office, who was not available for comment.
