Wanted: 4-man teams for RRCF Ranch Rodeo

Folks in Central and South Texas who want to know what working cowboys really do can find out by attending the Ridin’ the River Cowboy Fellowship 2017 Ranch Rodeo on Saturday, July 22, at Mansfield Park in Bandera, Texas.
Events will include Mugging, Team Branding, Team Doctoring and Wild Cow Milking. These tasks are what real cowboys do every day. Four-man teams will pit their expertise at these cowboy jobs to determine who will qualify in the same skills at the American Fellowship Cowboy Churches Ranch Rodeo finals to be held later this year in Texarkana, Texas.
Major sponsors for the RRCF Ranch Rodeo include The Ranch, KRNH, 92.3; Kerrville Ranch and Pet Center; Newport Construction Services; Baymare Group; Hamman Excavating, Corpus Christi; Hondo National Bank, and Aquatech Drilling, Inc.
For working cowboys who want to participate in the event, it is a 4-man team at $125 per man; 90 percent payback, plus prizes. Entry deadline is Monday, July 17. Call Kallee 512-754-4791 for more information on entering. Teams must act quickly since the event will be limited to 12 teams.
Gates will open and live music begins at 6:30 pm. Entrance fees will be collected at the gate entrance. Adults (ages 13 and up) are $10. Kids (ages 8 to 12) are $5. Kids younger than eight are free.
The Ridin’ the River Cowboy Fellowship mission is to share the message of grace and mercy through Jesus Christ in a way that represents the western heritage and traditions of the cowboy culture. The RRCF is located at 5767 Hwy 173 N, five miles north of Bandera. Learn more at www.rrcfbandera.com.
