The Big Give S.A. is a 24-hour day of giving that takes place from midnight to midnight one day each year. With hundreds of local nonprofits represented over a dozen counties, there is certainly a cause to fit your passion.
Along with many other participants throughout the Hill Country, A Doggie 4 You in Pipe Creek, Mission: Miracle K9 Rescue in Bandera and the Arthur Nagel Community Clinic stand to gain from the May 4 day of giving.
The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge is to increase public awareness of the impact local nonprofits make in addressing our community’s social challenges, bring nonprofits and donors together, expand the idea of online giving, connect people to the causes that move them the most and, of course, make giving FUN. By turning giving into a shared region-wide experience, we can significantly impact the future of South Central Texas and make a huge collective difference. The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country is committed to helping area nonprofits reach their maximum potential, and this is a great way to collaborate with donors all over the city, county, state, nation and world! Throughout the course of the day, May 4, The Community Foundation will offer prize money to be awarded to area nonprofits that are registered for The Big Give. It will be an exciting day of giving that you won’t want to miss! Be a part of the “buzz’ and the energy that giving to others generates. On May 4, get ready to Give Big for The Big Give!
