Live Hill Country Concert to benefit Polly’s Schoolhouse

Contributed

Please join us April 30, at 2:30 pm at First United Methodist Church in Bandera, located at 1103 Cedar St, Bandera, for an exciting live Hill Country concert to benefit Polly’s Schoolhouse. Celebrated vocalist and musician, Dr. Raquel Mora Martinez will perform songs using her unique musical style and talent which will highlight spiritual and cultural heritage. Songs include those she’s written or translated during her many performances throughout the region. Accompanied by a variety of musicians, Dr. Martinez will fill the Hill Country air with beautiful music.
In 2016, we provided a one of a kind concert at Polly’s Chapel featuring world-renowned French musicians Megan Metheney & Rebekah West. This concert will be in the same vein as a unique opportunity to enjoy beautiful music in the Texas Hill Country. We hope you attend this unique concert experience and that you will bring your friends and family. We ask you to please consider one of the available concert sponsorships to help support the restoration of Polly’s Schoolhouse. We have various sponsorship levels that will entitle you to have a quarter page, half page or full page ad in the concert program. All funds raised are tax deductible and go to support the restoration of Polly’s Schoolhouse.
Polly Texas Pioneer Association is very excited about our newest acquisition and looks forward to working with the community and others to restore the small one room schoolhouse. Once restored, the schoolhouse will serve as a community center and micro museum and provide an outdoor interactive learning center and will be registered as an official Texas State Historical Landmark.
Please call us at 210- 673-3584 for sponsorships or other information, or visit our website at pollytexaspioneerassociation.org.
