On the afternoon of Tuesday, March 14, Justin Rogers was spending the afternoon with his niece on the banks of the Medina River in the 100 block of Cypress Point in Medina River Ranch in Pipe Creek.
According to reports, Rogers became light headed, due to existing medical conditions, and fell into the water. Unable to assist her uncle, the 9-year-old girl ran to get her grandmother for help.
EMS and the Bandera County Sherriff’s Department responded to the call at 4:18 pm but were unable to resuscitate the 45-year-old man.
