Action was taken by the BISD Board of Trustees on the posting of Thursday, February 9, concerning the resignation of Trustee John Junker and possible appointment of an in-dividual to fulfill the remaining months of Mr. Junker’s term.
At the Regular Meeting of the BISD Board of Trustees on Monday, February 13, the Trustees accepted the resignation letter of Board Member John Junker. Additionally, the Board ap-pointed Rhondo Jauer, a parent and resident of Bandera Independent School District, to serve the remaining months of Mr. Junker’s term until the November 2017 regularly sched-uled school board election.
“What a remarkable job you have all done in education, administration and in areas of finance during challenging times. I will always be very fond of Bulldog Blue and will always support the efforts and the betterment of Bandera’s youth and young adults. It has been a pleasure and an honor to service this community,” Junker said.
